West Coast X-Ray is proud of our long-term relationship with Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Palmer College of Chiropractic is where chiropractic began. It was founded by the discoverer of chiropractic, D.D. Palmer, in 1897 in the Mississippi River town of Davenport, Iowa. With three campuses to choose from, Palmer is the leader and the largest chiropractic college in the profession.

Learn from the best to be the best. Palmer faculty are tops in their respective fields, and many of them continue to practice chiropractic as well as teach, so they bring practical experience into the classroom. You won’t be just a number at Palmer with a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1 or better.

At more than 26,000 strong, Palmer alumni make up one-third of the approximately 75,000 chiropractors currently in practice worldwide. Many Palmer alumni hold leadership positions in chiropractic organizations and have gone on to successful careers in education and research.

As a Palmer chiropractor, you will be part of one of the fastest-growing and most satisfying healthcare careers available. Join a global network of the most progressive, successful leaders in chiropractic.

West Coast X-Ray is excited about our relationship with U.C. Davis' Department of Animal Science.

This team of talented researchers studies the behavior, welfare, and management of poultry, including ducks, turkeys, laying hens and broilers.  Their research centers around two main themes: A) determining the impacts that housing and social environments have on the behavior and physiology of poultry, and B) developing and validating practical, species-specific welfare assessment measures.  A unifying goal of their work is to develop strategies to help minimize behavior-related poultry management issues while optimizing bird welfare and production.

WCX helped the Animal Science Department to add a new Direct Digital (DR) tool which will assist them in conducting more detailed studies of laying hens, broilers, ducks, and turkeys.

Their new DR system is not only powerful, but it is also portable and very affordable. Researcher Christina Rufener told WCX, “We are all looking forward to using the unit, and I am sure it will improve the quality of our work significantly!"
